Important Info!

Dear Class of 2005,
VERY IMPORTANT: those of you who have helped the
juniors by taking orders for cinnamon rolls, etc. with
the Tower Cafe--I need for you to call me your orders
either Tuesday or Wednesday--March 22 or 23. I will
be picking up the first order on Wednesday and turning
in the last order at that time. I do not know who all
has been selling these rolls, so YOU MUST CALL ME for
the orders to be placed. Thank you very much for
attending to this matter and for helping. The juniors
are very close to earning the money needed for the
Senior Honor Banquet so no one has to pay to come!
HOORAY!
1. I want to reinforce the message that each senior
needs to know:
how many invitations to order for graduation
exact name for name cards, diploma
name of school or decision to use Central
Oklahoma Alliance of Christian
Homeschoolers on the diploma
names of guests and phone numbers for the Senior
Honor Banquet
2. There is a fundraiser for the banquet
scheduled at Johnnie's Charbroiled Burgers oRe:
Reminders!n Main Street near Berry Road in Norman on
March 31. Friends and family who go to Johnnie's any
time of day on the 31st March and indicate they are
with the HOME SCHOOL CLASSES will have their bill
total applied to oRe: Reminders!ur group. If we reach
a total of $300 spent on our behalf, we will get 20%
of the total back to apply to the banquet. Less than
$300 will give us less percentage, but everything will
help. In particular, the juniors are hoping that as
many seniors as possible will meet them for supper at
6:30 P.M. at Johnnies on the 31st.
3. Tickets for "The Bash" (the party after the
Banquet) are on sale for $10. There are many
activities scheduled for "The Bash" to make it worth
$10. More information at the class meeting.
4. Oklahoma City JR/SR Banquet is April 22.
Tickets for the event at the Civic Center Hall of
Mirrors are $35. Tickets for the After Party at Life
Church in Edmond are $5. There will be a sign up
sheet at COACH classes on March 24 and 31 so someone
from the OKC Senior Class can contact those interested
in purchasing tickets. If you are not able to come to
COACH to sign up, please call me and I will get your
name on the list.
If you have any questions, please call
me (email Rachel for number and cell). See you Sat. eve.

Reminders!

Hello everyone!

It's time once again for our meeting! It will be held at 6:30 pm, Saturday, March 26.

Some other reminders:

• At this Saturday's meeting be sure to have a final count of the number of invitations you will need.

• The talent audition for the graduation will be held Saturday, April 9th, 7 pm, at Trinity Baptist.

• The Sr. Honor Banquet will be held April 14th. All seniors attending need to have 2 or 3 sentences prepared for each of their honored guests and parents.

• We can help the Jr. Class raise money for the banquet! Donations are being taken of baked goods, candy, soda, and especially popcorn (prepackaged popcorn and oil).

• For graduation ceremony: Each senior should have a bio of about 70 words. Parents may also write a 40-60 word blessing for their child if they so choose. Pictures: A baby picture (younger than 4) and a Sr. picture. No blurry pictures—as vibrant as possible, as it will look a lot better projected on screen. All pictures, bios, and blessings have a deadline of May 10th.

If anyone has any other reminders that I've forgotten to include, please email me and I'll get them out right away.

God bless,
Rachel M.

Historic Dancing Update

Here's a few updates I got from Stephanie K.:

We will be having our ALL IRISH MUSIC dance practice this Thurs.,
3/17, in honor of St. Patrick's Day. It will be held from 6:30-8:30
pm in the Lowery Room at the Norman Library. Cynthia is going to
teach us a couple of Irish dances, in addition to the regular
instruction I will be giving. Rumor has it that we may enjoy some
sweet treats this time, as well. So come in comfortable clothes and
shoes and we'll see you there!

If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a wonderful week!

Stephanie

Only on the evening of Sat., March 19, every 15 min. beginning at 7 pm
and concluding at 8:45 pm, the Honey Springs battlefield (off
of I-40 at Checotah) will host their annual Candlelight Tours. You
can go and observe period vignettes portraying aspects of life during
the war - usually there is a good mix of military and civilian scenes.
The theme this year is "The Blood Bath as Seen Through the Eyes of
the Soldiers."
This historic site also has some walking trails that outline the
battle fought there, as well as a Union group having their spring
muster during the daytime, so you could make a day of it.

For questions or reservations, Email: (email Rachel for address)
Phone: (email Rachel for phone #). Reservations required; fee charged $3/adults;
$1/children 6-18.

News about Scavenger Hunt!

Hey guys!
I forgot to mention one this when I sent the other email out. Food... and stuff...
It's a bit of a load on my family to cover it, so if you all could pitch in and do the usual orangement: Guys bring DRINKS and Girls bring SNACKS. Just go to the dollar tree and pick some thing up on the way.

And one more thing. Your friends are welcome to come also, I just need how many  and all their names! PLEASE let me know asap! I hope you all can come!

See ya there!

Video Scavenger Hunt

The VIDEO SCAVENGER HUNT is coming up quickly here, so I need to get the ball rolling! I need everyone who is planning on coming to RSVP to me BEFORE the 18th to Natalie's email address. I need to know how many teams to make, how many adult chaperones/drivers-of-large-vehicles/team leaders we'll need to volunteer, and how many video cameras we'll need people to volunteer (preferably from one of the team leaders). If you're planning on coming (as a student) or would be delighted to be a driver with a camera, please contact me ASAP. Thank you all so much. Email me with any other questions!
Thanks,  MVP Natalie W.

Announcement

My church is getting a group of people together to go paintballing, and you are invited! The date is Saturday April 2nd. We will meet together at 8 AM for breakfast (Location to be announced) and afterward caravan to the paintball location. To be announced also, as we are still looking at several places to find out which one will give us the best price. I realize that I have very little information at the moment, but this is just a heads up so you can keep that date clear if you want to go. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested, so I can give the guys in charge a better estimate of how many to expect. The more people we have, the less everyone has to pay per person, and it's a lot more fun! Also, if you have any siblings or parents who want to join in, they are more than welcome to do so. I should have specifics on the locations and prices soon.

I'm still organizing the video scavenger hunt. I'm planning for it to be on Friday, March 25th, from 5-8pm, home base being my house. I hope everyone can come. I'm planning on making the rules and the list of things, but I'm open still to some ideas for the list, so give me an email, for submit it to our Madam Reporter.
Thanks.
Your Wonderful,
Madam Vice-President W.
